About Sharawn

Sharawn Connors Tipton (she/her/hers) is a Global Chief Human Resource Officer who leverages cultural competency, human capital expertise, and diversity and inclusion to drive high-impact workforces and organizations.

Currently the Chief People and Culture Officer at LiveRamp (NYSE), Sharawn has led Human Resources functions across the corporate and technology spaces. She was the Chief Diversity Officer at Micron Technologies, where she built global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies across the US, EMEA, and APAC. Before LiveRamp and Micron, she served as an HR leader at Flex, Gensler and Safeway.

Her experience leading Global Compensation and Benefits, Executive Compensation, Diversity and Inclusion, Global Internal Mobility, HR Communications, HR Mergers and Acquisitions, Employee Engagement, and People Systems are critical components of her action-oriented leadership style. Sharawn is known for developing high-performing teams and creating community through collaboration, innovation, and celebration.

Sharawn is on the Board of Fair Pay Workplace, an organization dedicated to delivering transparent and trusted pay equity standards. She also serves as a Board Advisor for College Track - Oakland, mentoring first-generation and underrepresented college students.

A proud Oakland native, Sharawn advocates for affordable housing and quality elder care for minority groups in her hometown and encourages others to be dedicated members of their community.

Sharawn received her Bachelor's Degree from California State University - East Bay and her Masters' degree from Golden Gate University, and she previously held SPHR and PMP certifications.
